Ford Bronco
If you're interested in an uncompromisingly capable off-road SUV, then the Ford Bronco is ready to help. The Ford Bronco offers drivers eight trim levels, a variety of rugged engines, and extensive performance features. The Ford Bronco trim lineup consists of the Big Bend, Black Diamond, Heritage Edition, Outer Banks, Badlands, Wildtrak, Heritage Edition Limited, Everglades, and Raptor. The Raptor trim is the most capably equipped off-road version of the Ford Bronco.
Performance
The Ford Bronco makes a 2.3-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine standard, which offers 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. This engine works with a 10-speed automatic transmission, or a 7-speed manual transmission. The Black Diamond trim offers increased performance thanks to heavy-duty front/rear bumpers, skid plates, and rock rails. The Wildtrak trim offers a brawny 2.7-liter turbocharged V6 engine while the Everglades trim offers an air snorkel. The Raptor trim offers a heavy-duty rear axle, 37-inch all-terrain tires, a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine (418 horsepower/440 pound-feet of torque), and an active exhaust system. For those looking to maximize off-road potential, there's the Sasquatch trim to consider. The Sasquatch trim comes with 17-inch beadlock alloy wheels, 35-inch mud-terrain tires, shorter final drive ratio, electronic locking front/rear axles, and a lifted suspension.
Technology
Standard tech includes 12-inch touchscreen, a navigation system, a 7-speaker audio system, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. The Mid Package offers remote start while the High package offers a 10-speaker B&O audio system, a wireless smartphone charging pad, and a 360-degree camera system.
Interior Features
Comfort ranges from standard offerings like vinyl upholstery and air conditioning to seating for five and a spacious rear cargo storage area. If you're interested in boosting interior features, then the Mid and High packages are ready to help. The Mid package offers ambient interior lighting, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, remote start, and proximity keyless entry. The High package comes with increased sound deadening and increased driver assistance features.
Ford Bronco Sport
If you're looking for a compact SUV that blends urban amenities with adventuring spirit, then the Ford Bronco Sport makes for a great model to consider. The Ford Bronco Sport is smaller than the Bronco, offers less power, and focuses more on standard interior and tech features. The Ford Bronco Sport offers five trim levels: Big Bend, Heritage, Free Wheeling, Outer Banks, and Badlands.
Performance
The Ford Bronco Sport makes two engines available, with the standard engine being a 1.5-liter 3-cylinder, which offers 181 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque. This engine works with an 8-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is standard with all trims. For increased power, the Ford Bronco Sport offers a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that makes 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. For increased adventuring, there's the Badlands trim, which comes with an off-road-tuned suspension, upgraded four-wheel drive, underbody skid plates, and front tow hooks.
Technology
Tech abounds with the Ford Bronco Sport, with even the base Big Bend trim offering an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, a 6-speaker audio system, and satellite radio. Higher trim levels offer upgrades like a 6.5-inch digital instrument display, a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, a wireless charging pad, and an HD Radio.
